Santiago López Transfer from Independiente to Rosario Central

According to TYC, Rosario Central is considering executing the purchase option for Santiago López. The club is evaluating purchasing 50% of the player's rights for an agreed-upon amount of 2.5 million dollars. The player's loan at Rosario Central is set to end on December 31 of this year. A clause prevents the club from Avellaneda from blocking the operation. The decision rests with Rosario Central, which is analyzing whether to make the investment before the end of the year.

Santiago López is set to leave Independiente and continue his football career at Rosario Central. The deal involves a loan agreement that includes a fee and an option to purchase a percentage of his rights. At 18 years old, López had limited playing opportunities under the management of Julio Vaccari, and it was reported that a phone call from Ariel Holan persuaded him to join the Canalla. He will move to Rosario Central on a one-year loan, with a fee of 150,000 dollars, and an option for the club to buy 50% of his rights for 2.5 million dollars. The young forward, who has demonstrated his potential with the Argentine U-17 team and during his brief but promising appearances with Independiente's first team, aims to gain more playing time under Holan's leadership. His exit from Independiente coincides with the arrival of Lucas "Pocho" Román, another emerging talent returning to Argentina, marking a period of transition for the club.
