Rangers face new competition from RB Leipzig and Udinese in their effort to sign 20-year-old Troyes defender Sankhoun Diawara. This follows reports on Tuesday of interest from AC Milan. Rangers have had a long-term interest in the French player. Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna previously reported that the Ibrox club presented an ambitious project to the player. Diawara, whose contract expires next summer, gained attention following a campaign where he featured prominently for the first time and in which he helped the French team earn promotion. According to Transfermarkt, the French U19 international has a current market value of €2.00m.
