The player is currently with La Louviere in Belgium, where he extended his contract in April until the end of the next season. FCSB owner Gigi Becali confirmed that the club is negotiating with a defensive midfielder from abroad but did not disclose the player's name, expressing concern that doing so could jeopardize the negotiations. Lahssaini joined La Louvière in July 2024 and has a current market value of €700k, according to Transfermarkt.
