Sport1 reports that Paris Saint-Germain's interest in Said El Mala is confirmed.

According to Bild, Paris St. Germain is interested in Said El Mala, a 19-year-old attacking player from 1. FC Köln. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Chelsea were previously considered contenders. Brighton & Hove Albion made an unsuccessful offer for the player in the summer. There is speculation that a possible transfer fee could be between 30 and 40 million euros. El Mala has a contract with 1. FC Köln until 2030 and does not have a release clause.

According to Bild, Paris Saint-Germain has been interested for several weeks in Said El Mala. El Mala is a 19-year-old FC Köln winger and a Germany U21 international. He has 3 goals and 1 assist in 245 minutes this season. PSG would like to act quickly before competition intensifies. Brighton and Inter Milan are also reportedly following the player. El Mala is valued at approximately 20 million euros. His coach, Lukas Kwasniok, commented that if the player continues to score and adapt to the league, he will eventually have to be sold for an incredibly high price. El Mala is under contract until 2030. Bild reports that he is not expected to leave Cologne this winter, but that a departure next summer seems probable. The winger spent time in the youth systems of Borussia Mönchengladbach and FC Viktoria Köln before joining his current club in July 2024.
