Sacha Boey Transfer from FC Bayern München to Juventus

According to German outlet TZ, Juventus are interested in signing Sacha Boey. Bayern Munich are seeking to sell Boey this winter and have identified Feyenoord's Givario Read as his potential replacement. The player could be sold for €18m (£15.8m / $20.7m), a figure lower than the €30m (£26.4m / $34.6m) that Bayern paid for him two years prior. West Ham United, Galatasaray, Monaco, Lyon, Crystal Palace, and Sevilla are also interested in signing Boey.

According to information from Fabrizio Romano, Sacha Boey has once again been offered to Juventus Turin. An attempt was made to transfer the right-back to Italy during the summer, but Juventus Turin rejected a signing.

According to Sport Bild, Sacha Boey's tenure in Bavaria is over, and Bayern Munich is now determined to place the right-back on the transfer list as early as January. The club had already wanted to sell him during the summer. Juventus is one of the main clubs interested in him, and the German club is ready to discuss a sale if the offers are considered satisfactory. Bayern Munich is seeking to use the player's current significant playing time to maximize his value. Boey currently earns an annual salary of 3,000,000 euros in Germany.

Tuttosport recalled that at the end of August, Juve had already explored reinforcing their right-back position with Jonathan Clauss of Nice, Sacha Boey of Bayern Munich, and Arnau Martínez of Girona.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Juventus had expressed an interest in acquiring 24-year-old French defender Sacha Boey from Bayern Munich on loan towards the end of the transfer window. However, Bayern Munich was unwilling to sanction a loan move without including an option for a permanent sale, resulting in the transfer not materializing. Since Boey's transfer from Galatasaray to Bayern for 30 million euros, his time at the club has been overshadowed by his tendency to sustain injuries rather than his on-field performances. Despite these challenges, Bayern's head coach Vincent Kompany has consistently included him in the squad, a decision that has reportedly caused some confusion among the club's management, who have already deemed Boey a poor investment. Nonetheless, Bayern remained adamant about not allowing him to leave on loan without a permanent transfer clause, ultimately causing the potential move to Juventus to fall through. Boey, whose contract with Bayern runs until 2028, has also attracted interest from clubs like Galatasaray and Olympique Marseille. His current market value is estimated at €18 million, according to Transfermarkt.
