According to transfer reporter Pete O’Rourke, Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a late offer to sign Hull City left-back Ryan Giles. Following this, Alex Crook added that Giles will be staying at Hull. Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic has publicly commented on Giles’ future, suggesting they would only seriously consider allowing him to depart if an enormous offer arrived and the player himself requested the move. Jakirovic stated that if Ryan Giles came to him and said he wanted to go, he would go. The manager added that the player does not want to go and is a Premier League player now.

According to Pete O’Rourke, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham have both made offers for Hull's Ryan Giles. The 26-year-old English left-back joined Hull City in July 2024 and is under contract until June 2027. He has been capped four times by England at the U20 level. His current market value is €12.00m, according to Transfermarkt. In June 2026, it was reported that Hull City needed to raise approximately €7 million from player sales. Giles' last transfer with a reported fee was a €5.8 million move to Luton Town in July 2023.
