Globo.com reports that an agreement has been reached between Fluminense and Olimpia for the loan of Rúben Lezcano. Fluminense accepted Olimpia's conditions and has given approval for the loan. An agreement also exists between Rúben Lezcano and the Paraguayan club. However, the deal is being delayed by a FIFA rule that limits international loan transfers to six per window, as Fluminense is near this limit. The proposal is for a loan lasting until the end of 2026 and it includes a purchase option for Olimpia.

Olimpia has formalized a loan proposal for 22-year-old Paraguayan midfielder Rúben Lezcano. It is reported that Lezcano prefers returning to his native country to improve his chances of playing in the World Cup, despite receiving offers from within Brazil, including one from Fortaleza. The deal is not yet finalized, as unresolved issues remain between the player and Olimpia, and no agreement has been reached with Fluminense. Lezcano's former club, Libertad, also tried to sign him, and Cerro Porteño also attempted to sign him earlier in the window.
