According to Futbolred, the signing of Ronaldo Pájaro by Deportivo Cali has been confirmed.

Deportivo Cali has announced that a preliminary agreement has been reached with Fortaleza CEIF and Ronaldo Pájaro for his permanent transfer to the club. The agreement is conditional upon the fulfillment of contractual terms and a medical examination.

According to Julián Capera, Deportivo Cali has formalized its interest in 23-year-old Colombian midfielder Ronaldo Pájaro of Fortaleza and submitted a formal offer in the last few hours. This proposal from Cali competes with a bid made by Once Caldas earlier in the week. Both Once Caldas and Millonarios had previously been considered the clubs nearest to securing the player's services. Pájaro joined Fortaleza in January 2020 and has a contract that runs until December 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €800k.
