Samsunspor are negotiating with Hajduk Split for a potential transfer of United States youth international Rokas Pukštas. The Turkish side has a serious interest in the 21-year-old midfielder, with negotiations proceeding over a €2m fee. Pukštas joined Hajduk in July 2022 and his contract is valid until May 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €6.00m, and several other clubs, including Birmingham City and Parma, have also been associated with him. The proposed fee is less than prior valuations; Hajduk Split's asking price was reported as €6 million in June 2026, and the club turned down offers as high as €7 million in early 2025.
