Roggerio Nyakossi Transfer from OH Leuven to FC Augsburg
FC Augsburg, TSG Hoffenheim, VfB Stuttgart, and Werder Bremen are four Bundesliga clubs interested in OH Leuven's 22-year-old Swiss-Togolese defender, Roggerio Nyakossi. Other European teams also pursuing the central defender include Feyenoord Rotterdam, FC Everton, Ipswich Town, RC Straßburg, and Olympique Lyon. Nyakossi, the captain of the Swiss U21 national team, has impressed in the Belgian Jupiler League since joining in January 2025 and has a contract with Leuven until 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m. A transfer is complicated by his former club, Olympique Marseille, which sold him to Leuven for 800,000 euros. Marseille retained a resale percentage clause and a priority buy-back option valued at six million euros, a sum that is noted to be considerably less than Leuven's desired fee. If Marseille activates this option, interested clubs would have to negotiate with the French club.
