Olimpia of Paraguay is monitoring Rodrigo Fernández Cedrés and could attempt to sign him in the next transfer window. The Uruguayan midfielder's contract with Santos expires in December, at which point he will be a free agent. He is currently on loan at Independiente, which also intends to make a formal offer to retain him.
