Newcastle United have been monitoring 21-year-old Lens goalkeeper Robin Risser in recent weeks. Nottingham Forest, another Premier League club, are also observing Risser. Tottenham Hotspur are also interested and view Risser as a potential replacement for Guglielmo Vicario, whom the club has decided to sell. Several top clubs across Europe, including Milan, are also reportedly tracking the player. Risser has been capped four times for France at U21 level and joined Lens from Strasbourg in July 2025 for a reported fee of €3 million. He has made 23 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, and his current contract is valid until June 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €10 million.
