Roberto Fernández Transfer from Sporting Braga to Real Betis
Real Betis has expressed interest in Roberto Fernández, a 22-year-old forward who has made a significant impact this season at Espanyol, where he is on loan from Sporting de Braga. The club is tracking him as they look to add a young player to work alongside Cucho Fernández, particularly as Bakambu's future remains uncertain. According to reports, Manu Fajardo, the sporting director of Real Betis, held discussions with Roberto Fernández's agents in Sevilla regarding the terms of a potential transfer. Sporting de Braga has set his valuation at approximately 10 million euros. Fernández, who was transferred to Sporting de Braga from Málaga for 1.8 million euros last summer, has played a crucial role in Espanyol's season, netting six goals in 19 matches to aid their stay in the Primera División. The meeting in Sevilla occurred two weeks ago, according to Marca, but Real Betis is also evaluating other options for this role.
