There are speculations that 35-year-old Slovakian winger Róbert Mak could end his career after the season. Róbert Mak stated for FutbalSK on STVR that he does not know where that is from, does not feel like he wants to finish with football yet, and would like to continue for another year. He added that where that will be is uncertain. Mak would be very happy to end his career at Slovan Bratislava. He has a contract only until the end of the current season and has not yet negotiated a new one. He said he would be very happy if he could end his career there, but what the situation will be after the season remains to be seen. He added that everyone is now mainly thinking about securing the title and that after the season, he definitely wants to sit down with the coach and management to see how they decide. He stated he will respect their decision and is not planning to end his career yet. Mak has 81 caps and 16 goals for Slovakia.
