Sahmkou Camara, a 23-year-old French defender, is moving from Eden to Slovan Bratislava. The tall centre-back has not played a single match for Slavia's A-team since joining from Lausanne Ouchy. According to reports, Slovan's coach, Yaya Touré, took an interest in Camara and specifically requested his arrival with the intention of including him in the squad for the main phase of the Champions League. The transfer is structured as a one-year loan without a subsequent purchase option. It is also reported that the move is in its final stage, with the player expected to undergo a medical examination in Bratislava on Wednesday, after which the contract signing and official completion of the loan will follow. Camara is a Guinean international with two caps, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.20m.
