Robby McCrorie has completed a move to Varazdin, signing a two-year deal.

Germanijak reports that Robby McCrorie has moved to Varaždin, where he has strengthened the competition among goalkeepers and will have his first training with the team on Thursday. The sports director and coach of Varaždin stated that the first impressions are good. They believe that if everything on the field is as it has been so far, they have once again acquired a quality player and a quality person for the team.

Varaždin is set to sign 28-year-old Scottish goalkeeper Robby McCrorie as a free agent. The Croatian top-flight club sought a replacement after selling their goalkeeper and captain, Oliver Zelenika, to APOEL. McCrorie, who has been without a club since July, developed in Rangers' youth system. He left the club in 2024 due to dissatisfaction with his playing time, having previously had loan spells at Berwick Rangers, Queen of the South, Morton, and Livingston. After his departure from Rangers, he joined Kilmarnock and spent the previous season on loan in Denmark with Esbjerg fB. Transfermarkt estimates his value at 600 thousand euros.
