Richard Meier, currently playing for third division relegated club SV Sandhausen, is about to sign a three-year contract with FC Bayern, according to 'Bild'. Although initially intended for Bayern's second team, Meier might have the opportunity to prove himself under coach Vincent Kompany in July. The 21-year-old forward contributed two goals and two assists in 16 league appearances last season. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at 250k euros.
