Volos and Olympiacos are in advanced talks for the transfer of Rémy Cabella, and it is reported that only the final details of the agreement remain to be settled. The 36-year-old French-Italian attacking midfielder is not part of the plans of Olympiacos manager Imanol Alguacil and has been out of consideration for some time. Volos is aiming to complete the deal quickly, as the transfer window in Greece closes on September 15th. Cabella is expected to undergo the required medical examinations in the coming days, after which he will be officially announced by Volos if the examinations are successful. Cabella, who has been capped four times for France, joined Olympiacos in July 2025 and has a contract with the club until June 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.20m.
