Ajax confirmed on their website that Remko Pasveer is the new goalkeeper at Heracles Almelo. After five years at Ajax, Pasveer has left the club for Heracles Almelo and has signed a contract valid for the remainder of the current season. Football director Marijn Beuker stated that they are happy to facilitate the move and think it is positive that he can assist Heracles Almelo in their effort to avoid relegation from the Eredivisie. Beuker added that at Ajax, Pasveer built an impressive record.

Heracles Almelo, the Eredivisie's bottom club, confirmed to TC/Tubantia on Wednesday morning that Remko Pasveer is leaving Ajax for their club. A contract for the remainder of the season, which includes an option for an additional year, is ready for the 42-year-old Dutch goalkeeper in Almelo. Heracles hopes Pasveer will be able to play against Fortuna Sittard on Sunday, with his first training session expected on Thursday. The transfer went forward after Pasveer requested Ajax to cooperate with his departure earlier in the week, and the Amsterdam club agreed as it is reported they are set to sign Maarten Paes from FC Dallas as a replacement. According to De Telegraaf, the club and player have made arrangements for Pasveer to enter a development program at Heracles after his playing career ends. The same publication also reported that Pasveer has already informed his teammates at Ajax of his departure. Pasveer joined Ajax in July 2021 and has two caps for the Netherlands. His current market value is €150k, according to Transfermarkt.
