Torino's interest in Lazio's 21-year-old Moroccan international midfielder, Reda Belahyane, has led to a wider dialogue between the two clubs, creating the possibility of a loan swap with a right to buy involving Ivan Ilic. It is reported that Lazio's manager, Maurizio Sarri, is an admirer of Ilic. Ilic is considered to be leaving Torino after not finding consistent playing time. Torino values Ilic, whose contract runs until 2027, at a minimum of 10 million. Belahyane has made six league appearances with one assist and previously worked with coach Marco Baroni last season. Lazio acquired him for 9.5 million, and he is under contract until 2029. The midfielder has a current Transfermarkt market value of €8.50m and has also been linked with Rennes and Como. In November 2025, it was reported that Lazio's asking price for Belahyane was at least €10 million.
