Promise David Transfer from Union Saint-Gilloise to LOSC Lille
OSC Lille is interested in Promise David, a 24-goal striker from Union Saint-Gilloise. His price is reportedly a bit over 15 million euros.
Promise David, a Canadian striker, has gained interest from Lille as a potential successor to his compatriot Jonathan David. Despite the interest, Lille's budget is around 10 million euros, which may be insufficient as Union has set a price of 20 million euros for David.
Lille is considering Promise David to replace Jonathan David. Promise David is under contract until 2027 with Union Saint-Gilloise and is valued between 5 and 10 million euros. He is a Canadian national, like Jonathan David, and has scored 21 goals in 39 matches this season.
Lille is reportedly another club in France expressing interest in Promise David after his impressive season at Union. It is understood that the club will have to meet Union's high demands, and David will need some persuading to make a move, as he has indicated that he is not currently considering a transfer. Sources from Jeunes Footeux suggest that the competition for David's signature is intensifying, with Strasbourg and Rennes also showing keen interest in the player. Despite this interest, Union recognizes the potential to earn a substantial amount from his transfer, similar to previous deals involving Boniface and Amoura. Nonetheless, David has reportedly assured fans of his intention to stay for another year, highlighting his enjoyment at the club.
