ADO Den Haag has immediately suspended defender Philippe Lanquetin following reports concerning a 2023 incident in France. The club stated it had no prior knowledge of the matter. According to the newspaper OiseHebdo, a judge sentenced Lanquetin to a three-year prison term, with two years suspended, for driving without a license or insurance and while under the influence of alcohol and cannabis. ADO Den Haag also confirmed that, for separate reasons, it was already planning to terminate the loan agreement this winter. Lanquetin is on loan from the Portuguese club Estoril and had not played any minutes for the first team.
