Torino, Sassuolo, Venezia, and Genoa are among several Italian clubs interested in signing Perr Schuurs. The 26-year-old Dutch defender also has interest from the Netherlands, with NEC working on a deal for a three-season contract. An earlier report from transfer journalist Nicolò Schira stated that Ajax had also contacted Schuurs about a one-season offer. When asked about the specific interest from NEC, Schuurs neither confirmed nor denied it. The defender previously performed well for Torino, which attracted interest from Internazionale, but he then sustained a serious injury. His contract with Torino was later terminated by mutual agreement after a lengthy recovery. Schuurs, who has not yet been capped for the Netherlands, has a current Transfermarkt market value of €850k.
