Eintracht Frankfurt announced the signing of left-back Pedro Guimaraes, who holds United States and Brazil citizenship and will join the team in the summer. The 17-year-old arrives from Orange County in the second American league and has signed a contract until 2030. Sporting director Timmo Hardung described Guimaraes as a very exciting talent, noting that the club has been following his development for a long time. Hardung added that for his age, the player has strong technique and an exceptionally good understanding of the game. Guimaraes is planned to be introduced to the Bundesliga team through the U21s. The defender has 14 caps and one goal for the USA U17 national team and a current market value of €300k, according to Transfermarkt.
