Globo.com reports that Paulo Henrique had the opportunity to leave Vasco in July when PAOK from Greece made a proposal. Vasco refused the proposal, and Paulo Henrique himself also did not want to consider the approach from the Europeans.

Vasco rejected an offer from Greek club PAOK for Brazilian full-back Paulo Henrique, 30, this week because the proposal was unsatisfactory to the club's board. The Rio de Janeiro team has no interest in selling the player at this moment, as he is included in their plans for the remainder of the season, even though he has recently lost his position as a starter to Puma Rodríguez. The full-back had been an important player for the club in 2025, which led to a call-up to the Brazilian national team, but his performance has since declined. If Paulo Henrique were to be sold, the club would need to seek to sign a replacement. The player, who has 2 caps and 1 goal for Brazil, has a contract with Vasco until the end of 2027 and a market value of €6.00m according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 season, he has made 12 appearances in the league, providing 2 assists.
