Jagiellonia Białystok competed with Widzew Łódź to sign Paulinho Bóia, a 28-year-old Brazilian winger. It was reported that negotiations with Jagiellonia were held almost until the end, but the player decided it would be better for him to join Widzew Łódź to play under coach Aleksandar Vuković.
