Paco Esteban Transfer from Real Betis II to Lecce

Tuttomercato has reported that Lecce has officially completed the signing of Francisco Esteban Sanchez, commonly known as Paco Esteban, from Real Betis. The club has secured Esteban on a permanent basis, with the transfer contract now registered with Lega Serie A. Esteban, a 19-year-old forward, previously played for Real Betis' second team. His football journey began at the Villarreal academy, and he further developed his skills at Atlético Madrid. Recognized for his goal-scoring abilities, Esteban is also a member of the Spanish youth national team, having represented his country at the U16 and U17 levels.

Paco Esteban, a promising young Spanish forward born in 2006 and currently playing for Betis, has garnered interest from Lecce. Pantaleo Corvino, the director of Lecce, expressed his eagerness to sign Esteban to bolster their attacking lineup. Although Esteban is under contract with Betis until 2027, the club appears willing to sell him for immediate financial benefit. Reports from Spain indicate that Lecce has emerged as the frontrunner in securing his services. Lecce is striving to surpass Juventus, who also showed interest in Esteban with plans to integrate him into their Next Gen team before promoting him to the first team. Esteban demonstrated his abilities by scoring 20 goals in 41 appearances in the División de Honor Juvenil last season, enhancing his appeal for Lecce's future ambitions.
