Bournemouth is interested in signing Othmane Maamma for the winter transfer window as they look for a right winger due to the imminent departure of Antoine Semenyo. Maamma, the 20-year-old Moroccan and French right winger who was named best player at the last U20 World Cup, is also attracting interest from other clubs. Africafoot reports that Strasbourg wishes to recruit the player. Africafoot also reports that Maamma is being followed by Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Chelsea, Brighton, Brentford, and Sunderland. Maamma is under contract with Watford until June 2029; the club's management is not against his departure, but they would demand a fee of over 10 million euros. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.30m, which is similar to the fee of approximately €1.3 million that Watford reportedly paid to sign him from Montpellier in July 2025.
