Osmar Giménez has joined Sarmiento on loan from General Caballero of Paraguay with an option to buy. The 18-year-old Paraguayan midfielder, who has now signed his contract, was close to joining Atlético Mineiro in Brazil during this transfer window, but that move was not completed, leading to his arrival at the Argentine club. The Paraguay U20 international has four caps at that level, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €750k.
