Universitatea Craiova is considering acquiring Aris's 26-year-old Romanian attacking midfielder, Olimpiu Moruțan, who is said to be a priority target. The Romanian club has reportedly initiated contact with Aris to discuss terms for his acquisition. The potential deal structures being explored are either a loan or a free transfer, the latter being contingent on an agreement to terminate his current contract, which is valid until 2028. Moruțan has 17 caps and one goal for Romania and has made 12 appearances in the Super League 1 in the 2025/2026 season. Transfermarkt lists his current market value as €2.00m. In May 2025, reports indicated Pisa had a €2 million purchase option for the player, and his August 2023 transfer to Ankaragücü was for a reported €3.0 million.
