An agreement has been reached between PAOK and Partizan for the transfer of Ognjen Ugrešić. Ugrešić is a 19-year-old midfielder who is able to play as both a number '8' and a number '10'. The deal is expected to exceed 8 million euros and also includes bonuses. Ugrešić's market value is estimated at 10 million euros, and he has been on PAOK's transfer plan for a considerable period. His transfer became a priority following the sale of Giannis Konstantelias to Dortmund. Ivan Savvidis reportedly played a decisive role in the negotiations, personally handling a significant part of the process to finalize the agreement. The young Serbian is now believed to be near a move to Thessaloniki. The player holds both Serbian and Hungarian citizenship. He has four caps for the Serbia U21 national team, and his contract with Partizan was set to expire in June 2030. Several Serie A clubs, including Torino and Bologna, had also been reported as being interested in the midfielder.
