PAOK is completing a deal to sign midfielder Ognjen Ugresic for a fee that will exceed €8 million. Ugresic's name had been linked with Atalanta, and several other Serie A clubs were also reportedly interested in the 20-year-old Partizan captain, including Torino, Parma, Sassuolo, and Udinese. Bologna was among the clubs that pursued him most strongly, with a mentioned proposal of eight million euros plus a sell-on percentage. A Serbian and Hungarian national, Ugresic joined Partizan in January 2025 and has a contract with the club until 2030. He has been capped four times for the Serbia U21 team. His current market value is €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
