Both West Brom and Southampton agreed a deal with Rodez AF for Nolan Galves. Southampton were competing with West Brom to sign the defender, but he has opted to join West Brom instead of Southampton.

Southampton and West Bromwich Albion have both reached an agreement with French second-tier club Rodez for the transfer of French right-back Nolan Galves. Undisclosed bids from both Championship clubs have reportedly been accepted, leaving the 23-year-old with a choice between them. Millwall had also reportedly submitted a bid for the defender earlier in the transfer window, but a move was not completed. A final decision from Galves is expected soon. Galves joined Rodez in August 2024, and his contract there runs until June 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.80m.
