According to Globo.com, Palmeiras contacted the staff of Zenit's Nino, but the Russian club does not intend to negotiate for him in this window.

BolaVip reports that Palmeiras and Zenit have resumed negotiations regarding the possible transfer of central defender Nino. According to BolaVip, Zenit is demanding more than R$ 63 million (€10.1 million) for the transfer. The Brazilian club is optimistic about signing Nino because the Zenit defender changed his agency last Friday. The player's previous agency had a conflict with Palmeiras, and that conflict no longer exists. The club from São Paulo has not yet made an official offer to Zenit. Nino indicated that if Palmeiras agrees to the amount requested by the Saint Petersburg team, the deal could be completed soon.

ESPN reports that Zenit is unwilling to release defender Nino in the current transfer window, because the Russian team considers the player important for the remainder of the season and does not see an advantage in a deal at this time. The situation could change in the middle of the year, with the club potentially being more open to a deal.

Palmeiras made an offer of €7 million to the St. Petersburg team for the transfer of defender Nino, but the offer was rejected. According to a source, the club from São Paulo is considering using funds from the potential transfer of John to Zenit to purchase Nino.

According to ESPN, Nino is Palmeiras' primary target for a new defender. The Russian club is asking up to 12 million euros to negotiate for the player.

Palmeiras maintains its interest in Zenit's defender Nino. Zenit has requested €12 million for the player. According to the publication Nosso Palestra, this amount is beyond Palmeiras' budget.

Zenit have rejected an offer from Palmeiras for defender Nino. According to an investigation by ESPN, the Russian club is seeking approximately ten million euros for the player. Palmeiras have not ended the negotiation and maintain a strong interest in the athlete. The Brazilian club is considering a new proposal, which could be made in the coming days.

According to Planeta do Palmeiras, citing journalist Bruno Andrade on X, Palmeiras has not given up on purchasing Zenit defender Nino, and the source states the Brazilian club continues its attempts to acquire the player. Media previously reported that Palmeiras had already reached an agreement with Nino on the transfer.

ESPN BR reported that Nino is a target for Palmeiras and that coach Abel Ferreira has requested the player. The main obstacle in the negotiations is the position of Zenit, which requires 10 million euros to begin talks. Nino wants to return to Brazil and is attempting to influence Zenit's resistance.

Palmeiras inquired about signing Nino. The club received the same negative response about the transfer as other interested clubs.

Palmeiras is interested in signing 28-year-old Brazilian defender Nino from Zenit, a move that was requested by coach Abel Ferreira. The club will compete with Fluminense and Cruzeiro for the player. However, the Saint Petersburg club considers Nino a starter and does not intend to facilitate an immediate transfer, preferring a departure in June. The Russian team will only begin negotiations for a proposal of 10 million euros. The former Fluminense player, who has one cap for Brazil, is receptive to returning to his home country. Nino joined Zenit in January 2024, and his contract runs until June 2028; this season, he has made 15 appearances in the Premier Liga, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
