Manchester City has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Nicolò Savona, a promising young right-back from Juventus. Discussions are currently ongoing with the player's representatives to finalize the contract terms. It is understood that Savona is eager to join Manchester City. The 22-year-old Italian, who has delivered an impressive performance this season at Juventus with 26 appearances, 17 of which were starts, has attracted the attention of Manchester City's management during their challenging 2024-2025 season. Although the club initially preferred other right-back options such as Wesley from Flamengo and Tino Livramento from Newcastle, negotiations with those clubs have proven to be complicated, leading City to pursue Savona. His individual performances, including two goals and one assist, have also earned him a call-up to the national team under the management of coach Luciano Spalletti. The young defender is viewed as a potential reinforcement for City's right flank, as the club seeks to revamp its squad under the leadership of new sporting director Hugo Viana.
