According to Tuttomercato, Frosinone is showing interest in acquiring Nicolò Buso, a 25-year-old Italian forward, from Catanzaro. Buso had limited playing time last season, making only 18 appearances and scoring one goal, and appears to be trailing other attackers this year as well. Frosinone's sporting director, Renzo Castagnini, has expressed interest in acquiring him in exchange for Giorgi Kvernadze, a Georgian forward who joined Frosinone in 2023 and has made 43 appearances with four goals for the club, including one in the Coppa Italia this season. The proposed deal also includes additional financial compensation. However, Catanzaro currently considers the financial demand to be excessive. It is anticipated that negotiations might resume as the transfer window closure approaches. Buso's contract with Catanzaro is due to expire in June 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €400k.
