Nicolas Cozza Transfer from VfL Wolfsburg to Nantes

Nicolas Cozza has returned to Nantes on loan from Wolfsburg for the entire 2025/2026 season. The agreement between the two clubs does not include a purchase option. This marks his third consecutive experience with Nantes, having been on loan during the second half of the 2023/2024 season and the entire 2024/2025 season. Cozza expressed his happiness to return and start the new season with Nantes, emphasizing his readiness to work with his teammates and contribute to the team's defense.

Wolfsburg does not appear to have confidence in the abilities of Nicolas Louis Marcel Cozza. The German club, following the loan arrangement in the latter part of last season, has decided to transfer the French left-back to Nantes once again, this time until June 30, 2025. Cozza, who was born in 1999, developed his skills at Montpellier, where he made his professional debut, accumulating 112 appearances, 5 goals, and 7 assists before departing in January 2023. After playing 13 matches for Wolfsburg in both the Bundesliga and the German Cup, he now returns to don the yellow-green jersey.

Nantes has officially announced the return of Nicolas Cozza on loan from Wolfsburg until the end of the season. The former Montpellier player knows the team well, having spent the second half of the 2023-2024 season with the club. According to Ouest France, no purchase option was included in the agreement between the two teams. Cozza expressed his readiness for the season, mentioning that he is physically prepared after a significant pre-season effort.

Nicolas Cozza is loaned to FC Nantes from Wolfsburg. He was previously on loan for the last six months and has agreed to extend his stay.

Following the injury of Fabien Centonze, FC Nantes has decided to explore a new loan for left-back Nicolas Cozza, similar to their actions last season. Reports from L’Equipe indicate that the Canaries have secured an agreement with Wolfsburg. The 25-year-old former Montpellier player, who is contracted with the German club until 2027, is thus gearing up for a return to Ligue 1. This development is seen as positive for the Nantes team, which is bracing for a busy conclusion to the summer transfer window.
