French-Cameroonian striker Timothé Nkada could return to France. FC Nantes is reportedly interested in the 27-year-old. The French club, which was relegated from Ligue 1 last season, is looking for offensive reinforcements after a poor start to their new campaign and considers Nkada an option. While there is speculation about a loan with an option to buy or a permanent transfer for a reduced price, no official offer has yet been received in Liège, although that could still change. Nkada joined Standard Liège in August 2025 and his contract runs until June 2028. His current Transfermarkt market value is €2.00m, and he has one cap for the France U20 team.
