Willem II had been in talks with Doodeman about a contract extension, but no new agreement was reached, according to Brabants Dagblad. In the 2025/2026 season in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, Doodeman made 38 appearances, scoring 6 goals and providing 18 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €600k.
