Neal Maupay is reportedly being considered for a transfer from Olympique de Marseille to PAOK, with ongoing discussions as PAOK seeks to sign the French striker before the Greek summer transfer window closes on September 12. The Greek club is aiming to register him for the Europa League. Maupay was permanently acquired for 4 million EUR this summer following his loan from Everton, but he is not included in Roberto De Zerbi's plans. The 28-year-old striker, who has made 24 appearances and scored 4 goals across all competitions for the 2024-2025 season, is currently facing competition from Amine Gouiri and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Marseille, which has prompted the possibility of his mid-season departure. His contract with the French club is due to expire in June 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €8 million. Besides PAOK, several clubs in Spain, Italy, and France have also shown interest in the striker.
