The striker is reportedly now considering a departure from Olympique de Marseille, which marks a shift from his previous determination to stay. Over the summer, the 29-year-old French forward declined offers from Sassuolo, Getafe, PAOK Salonique, and Anderlecht. A report from 10 Sport indicates that Maupay is receptive to Lyon's interest and is currently in discussion with his representatives about the matter. The forward is also believed to be assessing an offer from another, unnamed club. His existing contract at Marseille is valid until June 2028, with Transfermarkt estimating his market value at €8.00m.
