Both Everton and Leeds made inquiries for information regarding the player but did not follow up with a concrete move. The player ultimately joined Real Betis in July 2025 and has since made 14 appearances in LaLiga this season. His current contract runs until 2030, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €18.00m.
