Brighton and Crystal Palace are tracking KV Mechelen winger Myron van Brederode. Dutch clubs PSV and Feyenoord are also reportedly ready to compete for the 22-year-old Dutch youth international. KV Mechelen hopes a transfer for the player, who arrived from AZ last summer, could generate approximately €10 million. A fee of that size would set a new club transfer record, surpassing the €8.25 million received for Hassane Bandé's transfer to Ajax in 2018. Van Brederode's contract is valid until 2029, and according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3 million. A year prior, in May 2025, his loan to Fortuna Düsseldorf from AZ Alkmaar reportedly contained a purchase option of €3.5 million.
