According to Fanatik, 19-year-old Turkish striker Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu was loaned by Beşiktaş to Süper Lig club Samsunspor on the last day of the transfer window. The player had been linked with Bundesliga side Schalke 04, but he reached an agreement with the Turkish club after his potential transfer to Germany was cancelled. It was known that Hekimoğlu wanted to move to a team where he could get more playing time, as he was struggling for a place in the Beşiktaş squad following the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic and the return of Semih Kılıçsoy. The loan agreement does not include a purchase option, and Mustafa is expected to be officially announced in Samsun soon after departing for the city. Hekimoğlu's contract with Beşiktaş expires on June 30, 2028, and he has 7 caps and 1 goal for the Türkiye U21 national team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €5.00m. In addition to Schalke 04, several other clubs including Real Sociedad, FC Utrecht, and Vitesse had been linked with the player.
