Mor Ndiaye Transfer from Kallithea to Pogoń Szczecin
Pogoń Szczecin has signed Mor Ndiaye as part of their summer transfers under the new ownership of Alex Haditaghi, who plans to strengthen the club. Ndiaye, a Senegalese player, is one of three African players brought to the club. The transfers have faced backlash from some local fans with racist undertones, prompting reactions from the club's management and captain.
Mor Ndiaye joined Pogoń Szczecin after being relegated to a lower league with Greek club Kallithea. Ndiaye is part of the squad for Pogoń Szczecin's training camp in Opalenica, where they will prepare for the upcoming season by participating in four friendly matches against GKS Katowice, Baník Ostrava, Arka Gdynia, and Chojniczanka Chojnice. The camp will last until July 3, and the team aims to recover from a disappointing previous season, which saw them lose the Polish Cup final and miss out on European competition.
