Kamil Jakubczyk, a 22-year-old Polish midfielder, departed Pogoń Szczecin in the summer of 2024 without making a senior team appearance and has indicated he is open to rejoining the club in the future. In a conversation with the portal Stolicasportu.pl, he stated that he sees a potential opportunity for a return. He described Pogoń as a club he is very fond of and mentioned that as a homegrown player with strong family connections to the city, he would like to do something for Szczecin and the team again. Jakubczyk also expressed a belief that the decision-makers at Pogoń might now regret not giving him a chance, but clarified that a potential return would not be motivated by a desire to demonstrate they were wrong. The Poland U21 international joined his current club, Korona Kielce, in July 2026 on a contract that runs until June 2030. According to an estimate by Transfermarkt, his market value is €1.50m. Before his move, he had been linked with several other Polish clubs, including Widzew Lodz.
