Ihattaren, who has had stints with PSV, Juventus, and Ajax, is currently playing for RKC Waalwijk. Under Ivan Leko's leadership, Gent has intensified its efforts in the transfer market, viewing Ihattaren as a crucial acquisition to enhance their offensive capabilities. Nonetheless, the interest from other clubs could complicate the transfer talks, as FC Groningen is also reportedly interested in the player.
