Modou Kéba Cissé Transfer from LASK Linz to Aston Villa

Laola1.at reports on Aston Villa securing the services of Kéba Cissé. Aston Villa has secured the services of Kéba Cissé. However, he will continue to play for LASK in the upcoming season. Cissé has signed a pre-contract with Aston Villa, which will be effective from July 1, 2026. The transfer is reported to be the second most expensive in LASK's history, with a transfer fee of around five million euros. Cissé joined LASK from Real Avila's youth team in the summer of 2024 and made his Bundesliga debut in February 2025, playing a total of 15 competitive matches for LASK in the past season.

Modou Keba Cisse is reportedly on the verge of a significant multi-million euro transfer to Aston Villa, a club that ranked among the top six in the previous Premier League season, as reported by 'Oberösterreichische Nachrichten'. The Birmingham-based club is said to be offering a transfer fee ranging from 5.5 to 6 million euros for the 19-year-old defender. This would mark the transfer as the second highest sale in LASK's history. Furthermore, it is anticipated that Cisse will be loaned back to LASK for a year following the transfer. Earlier reports had linked Cisse to Troyes, a French second division club, but it seems Aston Villa has secured his signature. Cisse is currently under contract with LASK until 2026, with a market value estimated at one million euros.
