Sevilla has been linked with Milton Delgado, a 20-year-old defensive midfielder from Boca Juniors and an Argentina youth international who was awarded the Bronze Ball at the recent U20 World Cup. According to the Argentine outlet 'El Intransigente', Sevilla and Chelsea are the first clubs to have made contact with the midfielder's close circle regarding a move to Europe. Other clubs such as Benfica, Oporto, Colonia, and Brighton are also reportedly following him. Boca Juniors president Juan Román Riquelme is in negotiations to renew Delgado's contract and increase his price to 20 million euros. The club rejected an offer from Besiktas a year ago. Delgado joined the club in January 2024 and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €5.00m.
