Despite this, according to the Trojmiasto.pl portal, Lechia Gdańsk is not considering a loan for the defender or a premature termination of his contract this winter. The portal's report indicates the reasons are that he is considered a proven player and the club wishes to avoid an emergency search for a replacement. A decision regarding the left-back's immediate future was reportedly made before the team's departure for their training camp in Turkey. If Kałahur's role in the team does not improve in the spring, he is expected to leave his parent club upon the expiration of his contract at the end of the current season. Kałahur joined Lechia in July 2023, has made three Ekstraklasa appearances this season, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €200k.
